Annual Meeting of the Parish

The Annual Meeting of the Parish of Bishop’s Waltham will be held at the Jubilee Hall, Little Shore Lane, Bishop’s Waltham

Finance, Policy and Resources Committee

Has primary responsibility for the management of the financial, buildings, land, policies and employment aspects of the Council. This includes ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations for Parish Council employees, contractors, hirers.

Planning and Highways Committee

The Committee has a standing responsibility to examine all planning applications and appeals affecting the Parish, and to recommend their responses to full Council for acceptance.

Halls and Grounds Committee

The Committee is responsible for the management and maintenance of all Parish owned buildings, their access roads and associated car parking facilities and managing sports and recreation grounds, public open space, allotments, amenity land and connected uses.

Community and Environment Committee

The Committee is responsible for the promotion of the Parish and the environment to the community and visitors. This is done in liaison with other Council Committees, the Town Team, the Chamber of Trade and other bodies, organisations or departments within the local authorities, to assist in the promotion of the Parish and the environment.

West Hoe Cemetery

This is a joint committee with members from both Bishop's Waltham and Swanmore Parish Councils. The committee is responsible for all aspects of cemetery management.
