Meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm.

The Planning Committee advises the Council on all actions required regarding local planning, highways and associated authorities and utility boards on matters relating to local and district highways, road safety, utility services and similar matters affecting the parish. This includes monitoring the applications and effectiveness of Tree Preservation Orders in the Parish and make appropriate recommendations. The Parish Rights of Way Officer is an ex-offico member of the Committee who monitors the local footpaths for the Parish and County Council.

The Committee has a standing responsibility to examine all planning applications and appeals affecting the Parish, and to recommend their responses to full Council for acceptance.
